Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence based treatment for people who experience intense emotions, relationship difficulties, impulsive behaviors, or emotional sensitivity that feels hard to manage. It is especially helpful for individuals who feel stuck in cycles of emotional overwhelm or crisis.

DBT uses four connected parts to support change: individual therapy to work on personal goals and challenges, DBT skills class to learn and practice new skills, 24/7 phone coaching to support skill use in real time when emotions are high, and therapist consultation team to ensure high quality and effective care. Together, these parts help people learn to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, communicate more effectively, and make choices that support a more stable and meaningful life. Clients typically participate in the program for 6-18 months.

At its core, DBT is about helping you build a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with what matters to you.
